Composite Decking
Composite decking is made from recycled plastic resin (usually polyethylene), or a composite of plastic and wood/plant fiber. The plastic component prevents rotting, cracking, and splintering. The wood fiber gives it strength and dimensional stability.
Wood-plastic composite materials have a more natural color, although you should note that the wood fibers may absorb water and fade in color over time. Look for products that have at least 50% recycled content.
Composite materials make use of recycled waste plastics to provide durable products for outdoor use.
Two places in the world claim to host the world's largest deck chair - Winton, Australia, and Bournemouth, UK. Both chairs are immense, high enough to need a ladder or ropes to climb into, and spacious enough to seat more than 50 people.
